Summer camps

Our weekly summer camps are the perfect option for those who want to learn windsurfing while solidifying all the knowledge acquired. The camps represent our best offering for learning the sport, where participants accumulate 15 hours of practice throughout the week.

The camps take place during the months of July and August, from Monday to Friday, from 10 AM to 1 PM, subject to class availability (min. 6 people).

The summer camps are aimed at beginner and intermediate practitioners. The goal is to foster autonomy in the sport and train independent windsurfers.

Windsurfing is a sport that can be learned relatively quickly. Generally, practitioners should be able to sail independently with some autonomy by the first session. It is important to understand and respect that each person has their own pace when learning windsurfing.

Typically, between 2 to 6 hours of practice, students should be able to practice on their own and take responsibility for their own progress. Our main focus is to guide practitioners’ development safely so they can sail independently as quickly as possible.

The higher stages of windsurfing learning, such as planning, using footstraps, or the harness, require a lot of perseverance and discipline from practitioners. No matter where you are in your learning journey, at the Lagoa Sailing School, you’ll find experienced and properly qualified instructors ready to assist you in your progress.
