Welcome to Escola de Vela da Lagoa
We are a school with over 27 years of experience in teaching sailing and water sports at Óbidos Lagoon. We specialize in teaching sailing in its various disciplines: windsurfing, catamaran, optimist, kitesurfing, wingfoil, as well as stand-up paddleboarding and canoeing.

Lessons and Rentals
Beginner, intermediate, or advanced? Solo, with family, with friends, or for your company? Whatever your level of experience, you will find a program tailored to you, with instructors ready to assist you at every step of your progress.
Lessons
At EVL, we offer two types of lesson options: private lessons or semi-private lessons.
In private lessons, you’ll always have a specialized professional with you to guide you throughout the entire session. This option is available for many of our activities.
If you’d like to share a lesson with a friend or family member, semi-private lessons are the perfect choice for you! In this option, the equipment and instructor are shared with other person(s).
